About Us

We believe in giving back to the community. Through our outreach initiatives, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals who may not have had the opportunity to pursue their passion for aviation. By creating awareness, providing scholarships, and supporting underprivileged communities, we hope to inspire and uplift the next generation of pilots and aviation professionals.

Enrollment

Fly Compton accepts students as young as 8 and prepares them for a career in aviation throughout their childhood. This sets them up for success in a way that no other flight training organization currently provides to children under the age of 15,  allowing them to see themselves inside the dream right now, not someday in the distant future.

Fly Compton is more than a mentorship program or summer camp. It is a fully developed flight training program with group classes every Saturday. All ground school and flight time can be logged and counts towards meeting the FAA requirements for a private pilot’s license.

Are you already an aviation professional?

We’re always looking for volunteers to inspire our kids.

Team

The Fly Compton team is committed to breaking down the barriers that prevent youth in underserved communities from obtaining rewarding careers in aviation.

Demetrius became a pilot at age 40 after boarding a commercial flight and seeing two African American men in the cockpit. He is now a Contract Pilot and flies corporate jets, specifically the Gulfstream IV (G4) and Hawker 800 XP.
